HSBC Chatswood

The project involved stripping back an existing warm shell retail store, resolving existing base build services, and building a new branch for HSBC. The project was broken down in to two stages. Stage 1, included back of house construction, new bathroom and kitchenette rough-in, and data rack rough in and installation. This was completed whilst the client was awaiting approval on stage 2. Stage 2, required DA approval for the shop front extension which resulted in an increase in GFA. The shop front extension included hoarding the entire store front along the busy retail foot path of Chatswood, and removing the existing shopfront, rectifying the existing awning including re-sheeting the underside and providing a new slab, structural members and services to accommodate the increase in floor space.
The project includes a multitude of detailed textured joinery that were manufactured off site and installed within the setout wall with minimal tolerance.
