Green Fleet Tree Planting Event
As a supporter of @greenfleetaustralia , our team were offered an exclusive opportunity to attend their 2023 Tree Planting Event. The event was held at Bonna Point in Kurnell, on the lands of the Dharawal people, just 10 minutes from our HQ in Cronulla. We heard from the teams at Greenfleet and @suthshirecncl about their work before we contributed to planting over 1500 native plants.
Greenfleet Australia provides a carbon offsetting service for businesses and individuals who want to take responsibility for their carbon emissions. By offsetting our fleet vehicle carbon emissions with Greenfleet Australia, we are funding projects that remove or reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere in order to balance out the emissions produced by our fleet vehicles. This can be achieved through various means, such as planting trees, investing in renewable energy, or supporting other emissions reduction initiatives.
Modus has partnered with Greenfleet since 2015 and are incredibly proud of this partnership which has seen us offset more than 7,000 tonnes to date!
