NAB required a new fully compliant DDA ramp, new glass shop fronts and automatic doors at the entry point to five NSW sites. A narrow window meant many trades working to a tight schedule. In heritage-listed buildings, any new additions were required to tie in with existing building façades.
Modus’ experienced Project Management team scheduled works in a busy program over one weekend enabling a large number of trades to work swiftly and sequentially in a relatively small area. Modus also implemented a traffic and pedestrian control plan to ensure minimal disruption and maintain public safety in the area.
All necessary paperwork and permits from the local council were handled by Modus staff, who provided the client with the required Occupational Certificate on completion. Successfully meeting the Monday morning deadlines across all five sites, meant trade resumed as normal and existing customers with disabilities able to access the branch more conveniently.
