THE CHALLENGE

 

CommBank embarked on a procurement process to consolidate facilities management providers across its Australian network. As a trusted corporate partner, CommBank selected Modus as its largest national contractor to provide services for 30,000m2 of retail and commercial space in QLD, NT, SA, VIC, NSW and ACT.

THE SOLUTION

 

From major CBD locations to pop-up branches in mining towns and remote regions, Modus delivers a program of services including plumbing, electrical, shop fitting and carpentry, providing an agile, truly national footprint.

Modus has developed a rigorous reporting process for CommBank with a focus on OH&S, on-time completions and accuracy. An online portal also provides real time updates to all stakeholders, ensuring streamlined project management and complete transparency.

On the ground, a dedicated in-house team performs the majority of work, supported by specialist contractors when required. The team is on-call 24/7 and performs more than 8000 work orders per year, each with a value of up to $5000. Response times are 100 per cent guaranteed and range between one hour and three days, no matter where the site is located.

Modus continues to exceed all KPIs and contractual obligations and has set a high benchmark of 95 percent accuracy over a three-year period. Modus continues to refine and develop its systems to ensure all sites in its scope enjoy business continuity with minimal downtime.
