MAINTENANCE CARPENTER

At Modus Projects we provide project management, construction, fit-out, preventative and reactive maintenance services to some of Australia’s leading brands, including major banks, government departments and petroleum sites.

You will be moving from site to site throughout the day undertaking all aspects of the Carpentry trade.

You will be undertaking reactive and planned maintenance and construction activities on our client’s buildings and open space assets.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake all aspects of Carpentry regarding maintenance, servicing and construction of Modus’ client’s assets
  • Engage all relevant utilities and service providers for; inspections, approvals and identification of faults
  • Prepare estimates and quotations
  • Accurately record all labour and material costs
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are fit for purpose and maintained

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Trade Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in general carpentry work on small and large scale commercial and retail facilities
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Working at Heights
  • Elevated Work Platform (Under 11m)
